Three people died during a head-on collision along the B10 road in the Kavango West Region on Saturday, while four others were injured.

The fatal crash happened in the early hours of this morning at Nambi Village, situated along the B10 road.

It involved a Chevrolet pickup that was driven by 43-year-old Kambinda Elion and a Toyota pickup, driven by 34-year-old Robert Nekongo. 

Nekongo is reportedly unlicensed, and the two vehicles were travelling in opposite directions when they collided.

One driver and a passenger died at the scene, while the other driver succumbed to injuries after arriving at Nankudu Hospital.

Four passengers survived the accident but were also rushed to Nankudu Hospital and are receiving medical attention. 

The extent of their injuries is yet to be confirmed as police investigations are underway.
