Digital communication and printing company Ren-Form CC has threatened to take legal steps to protect its name and reputation against what it terms false, malicious, and unsubstantiated allegations against it.

The South African-based company says it instructed its legal team to pursue all available legal avenues to pursue any organisation or individuals responsible for making the allegations against it in connection with the award of the contract by the Electoral Commission of Namibia (ECN).

The ECN awarded the tender for the procurement of ballot papers for the 2024 Presidential and National Assembly Elections to Ren-Form CC.

It has further denied any involvement with Zimbabwean businessman Wicknell Chivhayo or any of his agents, associates, employees, or directors.

The company says the allegations made against it by the Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) and published by a local daily are "equally false, malicious, baseless, and unsubstantiated."
