The Swapo Party has called for unity in diversity while reiterating that the party's victory in the concluded elections is a testament to the trust Namibians place in its governance and leadership.

In a media statement issued by the party's Secretary for Information and Mobilisation, Hilma Nikanor, she expressed gratitude to Namibians for their support in the recently concluded national elections. 

Nikanor said the electorate gave the party another mandate and elected Namibia's first female president-elect, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, which she said marks a significant milestone in Namibia's political landscape.

In the spirit of the festive season, the Swapo Party wished all Namibians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025.
