A young academic from Ohangwena's Elundu Village brought great joy and hope to his village and those from the surrounding by organizing an annual trade expo. 

The expo which was initiated last year has become a beacon of development, fostering unity and economic growth in the village.

The villagers embraced the opportunity not only to showcase their products but also to connect and enjoy moments of fun among residents and visitors.

Founder of the expo, Abner Hamukwaya, said the event was initiated as a means to foster development within the village by creating an opportunity for the community to thrive together.

Despite the favourable response from the residents and exhibitors, Hamukwaya stressed that the lack of proper road infrastructure in the area remains a challenge as it has made it difficult for visitors to access the expo venue, particularly during this time of the rainy season.
