The Chairperson of the Keetmanshoop Municipal Management Committee, Easter Isaak, has revealed to nbc News three capital projects that will soon commence at the southern town valued at N$10 million.
Among the projects earmarked for this financial year is the construction of sewer and water infrastructure at the Tseiblaagte residential area, in addition to interlocking two roads in town, during this financial year.
The municipality has contracted Ashy Trading and Shouli Investments for the construction of the two roads.
"We are all one people, so let's work together to make it a reality so that each and every person can have access to land and also have access to water and sewer so that we can have a decent living environment for each and every one."
Isaak also revealed to nbc News that a tender has been awarded to Ponoka Trading for the installation of high-mast lights in |Gereres informal settlement in Keetmanshoop.
