Stanley Similo, the Director General of the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation, urged radio managers and media planners to exemplify leadership in their roles.

He made these remarks at the opening of a four-day workflow workshop at the radio headquarters in the capital, which begins today.

Similo emphasized that effective leadership starts with self-discipline and setting a positive example.

He highlighted the necessity of maintaining professional boundaries and fostering a safe, supportive environment for all employees.

The workshop aims to tackle current workplace challenges, underscore the importance of teamwork, and promote knowledge sharing with junior staff members.

It also provided insights into the responsibilities of managers and media planners.

Similo further encouraged participants to be receptive to feedback, to listen without taking offense, and to remember that strong teamwork and collaboration are essential for effective workflow.
