Fly Angola, in partnership with Air Connect Namibia and the Namibia Tourism Board, has established a new flight route from Windhoek to Lubango in Angola.

The new flight route aims to create regional collaboration and promote economic growth, as well as support an enabling environment where airlines can succeed and prosper.

This new travel route has the potential to promote economic growth and deepen the cultural ties that unite the two nations, as well as increase the number of visitors and travelers.

Head of Business Development and Operations at the Namibia Tourism Board, Barbara Snyders-Bock, encouraged all stakeholders to work together in maximizing the benefits of the service route.

"I would like to extend our sincere appreciation to you all, the entire business community, and the travel and tourism industry partners in Namibia. Your support shown thus far has made it possible for the launch of this new service. Your dedication to enhancing travel options in the southern African region is commendable."

With the newly established route, Fly Angola will now be traveling to three Angolan destinations from Windhoek on a weekly basis.

The airline will travel to Benguela three times a week, Luanda twice a week, and once a week to Lubango via the new route.

Project Team Member of Air Connect Namibia, Leonard Shipuata, says the new route represents a vital link that enhances the movement of people, trade, and ideas.

"We are proud to support Fly Angola's entry into the Namibian market, working closely with all stakeholders to ensure that this route is not only sustainable but also positioned for long-term growth. Through targeted market development, collaboration, and the alignment of public and private sector interests, we endeavor to stimulate demand and facilitate enduring success."

Shipuata added that they will continue to forge stronger connections, cultivate lasting partnerships, and build a future defined by shared success.
