Former First Lady Penehupifo Pohamba has donated maternity packages to 81 expectant mothers in the maternity ward of Outapi District Hospital.

The assistance is meant to help expectant mothers prepare for delivery. 

The donated items include bedding, bags, nappies and baby care products, as well as surgical masks and gloves.

Omusati Governor Erginus Endjala handed the donated items over to expectant mothers.

Acting Nurse Manager for Outapi District Hospital, Verena Shiimi, accepted the donation on behalf of the recipients.
