The National Democratic Party (NDP) leader, Martin Lukato Lukato, is among the latest individuals to register for the Namibian Broadcasting Corporation's (NBC) marathon, scheduled for August 2, 2025.

He signed up to participate in the 42 km race.

NBC Director General Stanley Similo received the National Assembly MP and expressed his delight at the support from all sectors of society for the fitness event.

The NBC Marathon aims to provide an unforgettable fitness experience that promotes health, fun, and community spirit in Windhoek.

The event features a full marathon, a half marathon, and a 5-kilometre fun run/walk and is open to everyone. It celebrates health and community engagement while also symbolising the powerful role media plays in driving positive change by addressing mental health.
