A 14-year-old boy was arrested in the Omusati Region after allegedly raping three minor boys.

Omusati Police Commander Ismael Basson said the three boys were collecting cattle from the grazing field when the suspect allegedly caught them one by one, undressed them, and raped them.

Basson further stated that a fourth boy, after witnessing the crime, ran home and alerted his parents, who then reported the matter to the police.

The suspect is an uncle to one of the victims but does not share the same residence with any of them.

The victims are between 7 and 8 years old.

The suspect was arrested at Tsandi on Wednesday and has been charged.

He is scheduled to appear before the Okahao Magistrate's Court on Friday.
