Prime Minister Elijah Ngurare has called on young people to emulate the late former Minister of Works and Transport, Moses Amweelo's commitment to unity and skills development.
Speaking during a visit to the Amweelo family in Windhoek, Ngurare described him as a humble man and a role model to many.
Amweelo served as Minister of Works, Transport and Communication from 2000 to 2005. Throughout his career, he also worked as Chief Inspector of Occupational Safety in the Ministry of Labour, Transport Coordinator for the SWAPO Office in Oshakati, and held positions as a teacher and principal. He was also a SWAPO Transport Coordinator in Angola.
Amweelo died at the age of 73 after a battle with cancer.
