President Nandi-Ndaitwah has directed that all invitations to regional governors be facilitated through the Presidency, and she has encouraged them to embark on legacy projects in their respective regions.

The new governors are Ismael Pijoo Marikutuka Nganate, Governor of Omaheke Region; Immanuel Shishiweni Shikongo, Governor of Omusati Region; Dorothy Mareka Kabula, Governor of Zambezi Region; Nathalia ǀGoagoses, Governor of Erongo Region; Hofni Alugodhi Iipinge, Governor of Oshana Region; Dawid Casius Gertze, Governor of ǁKharas Region; and Kadiva Diana Hamutumwa, Governor of Ohangwena Region.

They join those appointed in March, who are Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma, Governor of ǁKhomas Region; Vipuakuje Muharukua, Governor of Kunene Region; Sacky Kathindi, Governor of Oshikoto Region; Verna Sinimbo, Governor of Kavango West Region; Hamunyera Hambyuka, Governor of Kavango East Region; Riaan Charles McNab, Governor of Hardap Region; and John Julius ǁKhamuseb, Governor of Otjozondjupa Region.
