The Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber of Mines, Veston Malango, announced today that this year’s Mining Expo and Conference is completely sold out.
At a media briefing in Windhoek for the Mining Expo and Conference 2025, Malango
revealed that over 180 exhibitors will occupy 320 booths at this year's event.
Although the number of exhibitors is slightly lower than last year, they are utilizing more booth space.
In 2024, the expo featured 196 exhibitors in 313 booths and attracted 7,831 visitors.
Malango emphasized that the expo aims to showcase the mining industry to stakeholders and the public, engage local entrepreneurs on opportunities within the sector, and promote skills development in mining.
The expo is scheduled for August 5-7 at the Windhoek showgrounds, with free admission for the public.
It will be held under the theme “Mining for Namibia’s Future: Job Creation, Local Empowerment, and Economic Transformation.”
