A medical company, Patient Care, hosted a men's mental health event following the suicide incidents that took place recently.

Men from various age groups and backgrounds were given some life coaching by various motivational speakers, an experience they say was life-changing.

The discussions included topics such as suicide, depression, addiction, and mental health.

The young men in attendance were given the opportunity to share their stories and get some advice from life coaches.

Motivational speaker and former sports coach Adam Nzuzi encouraged the young men not to bottle up their emotions when facing challenges.

He advised them to rather confide in someone or seek help from a social worker, as this could lead to a mental breakdown.

"Every time you go through an issue, it's like that balloon that you put in aid. What happens? The balloon expands, right? Every time you blow an insight. You know that balloon itself is not made up to contain all the air that you blow in, it has a limitation. So if you blow too much, if it reaches a limitation, what happens when you blow a little aid? It bursts. So when it comes to our mental health and our emotions, it works almost the same way."

According to Nzuzi, people have different expectations in life, and what may seem normal to others may pose a challenge to those in a depressed state of mind.

The speakers told the men in attendance that all obstacles in life can be overcome with the right support and called for a positive outlook on life.
