Twenty-five trainees from the Namibia College of Technology and Vocational Training (NCTVT) pitched their business plans in Windhoek as they await their assessment results and toolkits in August.

The Executive Director of the College, Immanuel Nawinda, commended trainees for successfully completing courses despite varied backgrounds and gaps in formal education, highlighting their determination and resilience in pursuing skills.

Nawinda urged trainees to become job creators and contribute to national food security efforts.

The trainees expressed gratitude for the program, which equipped them with knowledge and skills in horticulture and animal husbandry, empowering them with the ability to start their own businesses.

The trainees are set to receive toolkits and possible stipend support soon.
