Nine institutions have received a donation of N$350,000 from the Namibia Special Risks Insurance Association (Nasria).

The Namibia Brave Warriors will receive the majority of the sponsorship, specifically N$100,000, as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

The sponsorship handover serves as a strategic investment in Namibia's human capital, directed towards organisations driving tangible change.

Eben-Ezer Soup Kitchen, Ombwana Combined School, and Okakarara Community Garden are among the organisations that have benefited from this initiative.

Ndapona Schleberger, the Executive for Marketing and Sales at NASRIA, explained that "The support we hand over today represents far more than its monetary value. For the schools, they symbolise our shared commitment to education, excellence and the creation of conducive environments where young minds can flourish historically. A safe playground, reliable teaching tools, and basic comfort are not luxuries."

Schleberger further stated that these contributions will hopefully serve as catalysts for improved learning outcomes, greater community resilience, and enhanced skills and independence.

This sponsorship is an effort to empower communities, support education, and build a more resilient, inclusive, and prosperous Namibia for generations to come.
