President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has no doubt that newly accredited Heads of Mission to Namibia will continue to build on the efforts of their predecessors.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah on Wednesday received letters of credence from five new envoys at State House.

They are from Finland, represented by Ambassador Katja Kalamäki; Ramia Abdelsalam from Egypt; and Iran's Mohammad Beigi.

Ghana's High Commissioner, Alhaji Attah, and the USA's Ambassador, John Giordano, also presented their credentials to the President.

President Nandi-Ndaitwah said Namibia has had diplomatic relations with these countries since Namibia's independence, spanning 35 years.

She expressed optimism that these ties will strengthen for mutual benefit.

Renewal and advancement of partnerships are some of the commitments by the new Heads of Mission.

All five new envoys will serve in diplomatic missions based in Windhoek.
