President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has commissioned three taskforces, namely on health, land and housing, and economic recovery.
She urged members to maintain unity of purpose and embrace fresh approaches to national challenges.
Addressing the new taskforce members, President Nandi-Ndaitwah said their dedication, expertise, and steadfast commitment would be vital to shaping meaningful policy interventions.
The taskforces stem from commitments the Head of State made during the recent Public-Private Forum, which she says created a space for Namibians to confront shared challenges honestly and collaboratively.

"It reaffirmed that our nation has the talent, the ideas, and the capacity. What we needed was alignment, unity of purpose, and a willingness to approach our problems with fresh thinking."
Members were selected from the government, private sector, civil society, academia, and other sectors.
President Nandi-Ndaitwah said their composition reflects the Eighth Administration's seriousness about service delivery and urgency.
"We are demonstrating that our approach is one of business unusual, because the challenges we face demand nothing less. This is not about criticising what came before us. It is about building on the foundations that previous administrations have laid, drawing lessons from the past and improving on what can be done better today."
The economic recovery taskforce will focus on unlocking growth and strengthening investment, guided by the post-COVID-19 economic recovery framework.
The health taskforce will support efforts to strengthen the health system using the 2013 health report, while the housing and land taskforce will work to expand access to serviced land and housing nationwide.
"As you begin your work, it is crucial to understand that collaboration will not always be simple. You come from different sectors, and you may not always agree. But disagreement is not a weakness. It is an opportunity to understand one another and to build better solutions. We cannot solve today's challenges with yesterday's mindset. We must be bold, honest, and innovative."
All members will serve on a voluntary basis.
