The Governor of the ǁKharas Region, Dawid Gertze, dressed as Santa Claus, brought festive cheer and gifts to young patients at Keetmanshoop State Hospital today.

A total of 15 children received gifts during the visit.

Speaking during the event, Gertze said the purpose of the visit was to spread joy and wish the children good health during the festive season.

“We came to visit the little ones, to wish them good health, and to hope they enjoy a wonderful Christmas,” he said.

The initiative was organised by the ǁKharas Governor’s Youth Desk as part of its festive season outreach.

Hospital staff and mothers of the children warmly welcomed and expressed appreciation for the gesture.
