The Vice President emphasises that education continues to be a national priority and advocates for enhanced collaboration to tackle challenges and create a brighter future for students.

During a handover event hosted by Pupkewitz MegaBuild, Lucia Witbooi states that the donation unites partners who have a shared objective of enhancing education and ensuring that schools are better equipped to assist learners.

Pupkewitz MegaBuild donated building materials to Omaheke's Mokganedi Tlhabanelo High School. 

The donation includes 60 doors, 60 door handles and 10 lights.

Witbooi reiterates, "This hand over is not just about the transfer of materials; it is about strengthening the foundations upon which education can be delivered. It is about creating safe, dignified and functional spaces that enable effective teaching and meaningful learning for the Namibian child. Today we are reminded that education remains central to our national priorities."

The Minister of Education, Sanet Steenkamp, says the handover strengthens education through partnerships between the private sector and local communities. 

"Today's handover from the Pupkavits megaBuild truly reminds us that beyond large-scale projects, even targeted interventions such as improving security and restoring basic infrastructure can indeed make a meaningful difference in the daily lives of our learners and our teachers." 

The financial director of Pupkewitz MegaBuild, Daniel Du Toit, says that the donation reflects the company's vision as a proud Namibian business focused on progress and sustainability.
