The company's Managing Director, Anton Westraadt, said they are committed to offering reliable, high-quality motor vehicle parts and good customer service.
"We're very proud that we're opening this outlet, and we created 17 immediate direct jobs. So I firmly believe it's part of our responsibility as the private sector to grow the economy and create jobs to alleviate unemployment and poverty."
City of Windhoek Mayor Sakaria Uunona expressed that the investment will benefit both the city and the country at large by stimulating economic growth and supporting the development of local skills.
"The group has demonstrated resilience, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to services. What we witness today is not just expansion. It is a continuity of the legacy that has supported generations of Namibians. Ladies and gentlemen, since its introduction to the Namibian market in 2019, Purpose Godwag has steadily built a reputation for adaptability and accessibility in the automotive sector by supplying quality parts to motorists, workshops, and freight operators. You are supporting an industry that quite literally keeps our economy moving."
