The top ten Miss Namibia finalists visited the National Housing Enterprise (NHE) headquarters in Windhoek as part of their official corporate sponsor engagement tour.

As part of the Miss Namibia initiative, one of the finalists will be crowned the winner and awarded a house, which will be constructed in the town of her choice.

During the visit, the finalists highlighted the towns across the country, where they would like their homes to be built, should they emerge as the winner.

NHE Chief Executive Officer, Gisbertus Mukulu, encouraged the finalists to view the houses as a long-term investment and an asset for them.

"It is an investment and a valuable asset for life. It is not something you should dispose of because, at the end of the day, if you have a family, it will benefit your children and your family. Therefore, you need to keep it. As you travel, I want to wish you well, and may God's blessings be with you. Stay true to your goals and to what you want to achieve. All of you are winners, and we are happy to see you. NHE is a government institution, and we are supporting the government's efforts to ensure that we uplift our young people. That is the fundamental purpose of the government and its institutions."

He also wished the finalists well as they get ready for the final round of the Miss Namibia competition.

Miss Namibia is set to take place in Gobabis in the Omaheke region on 01 August.
