President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has toured the António Agostinho Neto Memorial Site in Luanda, where she paid tribute to Angola's founding President and reflected on the historical ties between Namibia and Angola.
During the tour, President Nandi-Ndaitwah was shown historical displays, including the inaugural key to the building, as well as exhibits reflecting the close relations between Namibia and Angola.
She laid a wreath in honour of the Angolan founding President and signed the book of honour.
The tour also cements the longstanding solidarity between the two countries, forged during Namibia's liberation struggle.
The two countries are now seeking to build on that shared history by expanding cooperation in various sectors with the aim of strengthening bilateral relations and promoting shared development for their people.
