A groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a new office for the Government Institutions Pension Fund (GIPF) took place at Ondangwa in the Oshana Region.
GIPF, the largest pension fund in Namibia, procured land for the construction of a new office complex at Ondangwa, which will be constructed at a cost of N$38.3 million.
GIPF has a membership base of close to 146, 000 active and annuitant members countrywide.
The fund makes efforts towards decentralising its operations to make services accessible to all its members, said GIPF Board of Trustees Chairperson Nilian Mulemi.
