The National Unity Democratic Organisation (NUDO) has pardoned its members who were suspended and expelled.
Party President Dr Utjiua Muinjangue told a media conference that the decision by the Central Executive Committee aims to restore unity ahead of the 2024 national elections.
Those expelled from the party in 2019 include former Okakarara Constituency Councillor, Vetaruhe Kandorozu.
Dr Muinjangue says Kandorozu and others were expelled for allegedly campaigning for Dr Panduleni Itula for the presidency during the 2019 National Assembly and Presidential elections.
Kandoruzu has refuted the allegations against him, but that was not enough to save him from expulsion.
Abross Mundjiri and Jackson Ngairo were also among those who were suspended together with Kandorozu.
Three years later, the party decided to kiss and hug for unity.
Muinjangue was, however, quick to point out that the expelled members would only be welcomed as ordinary members and would not retain their previous status in the party.
"Suspended or expelled NUDO members will be welcomed back to the party as ordinary members, but they will not be reinstated to positions they previously occupied before suspension or expulsion."
The party was also not able to state whether the reinstated members would be allowed to contest for positions in the party.
