Affirmative Repositioning leader Dr Job Amupanda has vowed to fight corruption and exploitation of the masses and to ensure that state resources are accounted for.
Dr Amupanda addressed the AR reorganization and formalization meeting that was held at Walvis Bay.
Dr Amupanda says the political outlook is informed by various radical world analysts, particularly in reference to the question of the exploitation of certain groups by others.
"They also exploited people on the basis of their race, in particular, okay? So this universal approach to Marxism we find quite limiting, and we need to explore other tools of analysis and other schools of thought for us to be able to mount a successful critique and shape our society. That is why we then say we use the Fanonian tools of analysis, particularly how the human being has been treated. These lines of a human are between them. There are some people whose humanity is not recognized, and others also, but many are recognized for known concepts, particularly."
Amupanda also spoke on the movement's position on the term "economic freedom" to resolve the land and housing questions.
"When we're saying, we have a phenomenon, we use phenomena and transfer known tools of analysis to actually understand the impact of the colonial project, particularly on the colonized people in various ways. In terms of the institutions of power, phenomenal assistance is needed to understand what has actually happened to these institutions of power. How does colonialism leave a legacy in these institutions of power? How do we sustain these institutions? How do we sustain colonialism? even when the white man is no longer there, through the education system, which has not changed. What has been the impact of the colonial project on the minds of the Africans?"
