The United Nations Population Fund (UNPFA) has donated dignity kits to more than 370 girls at the Epako Secondary School in Gobabis as well as two sewing machines.
The donation was made through the financial support of the government of Japan.
UNFPA is a sexual and reproductive health agency that aims to support the government and partners in meeting family planning needs toward ending maternal deaths, gender-based violence and HIV.
Acting Education Director in the Omaheke Region, Constance Wanternaar called on the beneficiaries to utilize the given items for the intended purpose.
