The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) members and sympathizers at Okandengedi and surrounding areas have been urged to promote and share the party's agenda to would-be voters.

The call was made by the party's Secretary General Manuel Ngaringombe.

Ngaringombe said this during his engagements with party supporters on the importance of voting for change in elections.

He says, PDM will prioritize the provision of affordable housing, job creation and infrastructure development if the party is voted into power in the 2024 elections.

The Secretary-General says, the opening of the regional office at Okandjegendi will provide better services to its members and make information sharing on party activities more convenient.

"Colleagues there is only one thing that is going to release us from the problems of this country, from the stresses and tough times of this country, it is for you to vote otherwise. To vote for people and persons that will bring change in your life."

Ngaringombe also condemned the formation of many political parties during every election, saying it is making it difficult for opposition parties to win either Presidential elections or get more seats in parliament.

"Let's be careful, if someone says he is tired with the current government, and he is part of that government when he goes out, he must not go and start his own party. Its time wasting, he must come and stand with us that have fought the current government throughout the years."

He says en route to 2024, his party members and sympathizers must not shun the election processes as their votes count and will bring them closer to victory.
