Project Never walk alone has so far donated over 5-thousand new pairs of shoes to children in five regions.

|Khomas recently became the sixth and latest beneficiary.

The project donated 400 brand-new pairs of shoes to the Groot Aub Primary School.

The donation was made possible by the  Capricorn Foundation.

At the event, learners, among others received a pair of school shoes, socks, and basic toiletries. 

Never Walk Alone ambassador, Dee'A empahasised the project's intent, to inspire confidence in the children and encourage them to reach their full potential.

The Groot Aub Primary School Principal Toini Nujoma hailed the event as a golden opportunity to draw attention to the school's plight.

During the gathering, Nujoma indicated that her school was in need of a school hall and extra classrooms as the learner population are fast growing.  

|Khomas Regional Councilor Piet Petrus Adams stressed the significance of proper school shoes and applauded the kind gesture and how it will positively impact the lives of learners.  

The councilor called on others in the private sector to contribute towards improving conditions for all citizens.
