The Landless People's Movement held a two-day strategy meeting in Windhoek, aimed at taking stock of what the party is going to do in 2023 and in 2024.

The party's leader, Bernadus Swartbooi says it's important for the party to have a strong, clear, and precise analysis of contradictions found in society, to avoid becoming irrelevant.

Swartbooi stressed that part of the challenge of alternative and opposition party politics around the continent is the inability to correctly analyze and identify the key contradictions that locate the political, ideological, and political programmes of political parties.
He says members need to identify where they are precisely in terms of the ideological spectrum.

Professionals within the industry were also invited to form part of the strategic gathering allowing them to give their input.

Swartbooi referred to the two-day strategic gathering as a learning experience adding that it's about interrogating without judging
