The Keetmanshoop Athletics Club in the ||Kharas Region recently received a sponsorship of sport gear from Debmarine Namibia, which includes tracksuits, running shoes, shorts and t-shirts.
  
The sports gear is valued at twenty-five thousand Namibia dollars.

Club chairperson Richard April says that the club currently has 15 active members, but the sponsorship only made provision for the top ten athletes at the club. He explained that the new gear will boost the young athletes, who are between ten and 46 years old.
  
The team is currently preparing for the Rossing National Marathon that will take place in March in Swakopmund.
  
The Keetmanshoop Athletics Club provides an opportunity for young athletes in the ||Kharas region to compete in regional and national athletics events.
