As the Swapo Party celebrates its 65th anniversary, President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has called for a renewed commitment to building a brighter, fairer, and more just Namibia.

The Swapo Party marks its 65th anniversary today.

Founded in 1960 as the successor to the Ovamboland People's Organization, Swapo played a pivotal role in Namibia's liberation struggle and has been the ruling party since the country gained independence in 1990.

Rundu Mayor Gabriel Kanyanga has urged Rundu residents to cooperate during the first phase for the installation of the prepaid water system.
