The government says progress is on track in upgrading health facilities across the country for both public servants and members of the public, particularly those making use of medical aid services.

The Ovaherero and Ovambanderu communities gathered in Swakopmund to commemorate and honour the victims of the 1904–1908 genocide.

The communities marched through the streets of Swakompmund as they paid homage to thousands of Ovaherero and Nama who died during the genocide.
