Omburo Fishing Enterprise has come to the rescue of Coblenz Combined School in the rural constituency of Okakarara by donating building materials and paints.

Walvis Bay shuttle drivers have expressed frustration and anger towards Windhoek-based tourism agencies for "monopolising bookings and leaving fewer customers for smaller shuttle services in the township."

This is despite the influx of tourists brought in by cruise liners.

The tourism officer for the Erongo and Kunene regions, Suama Nambala, has highlighted the immense contribution cruise lines make to Namibia's growing tourism sector, emphasising their vital role in providing a much-needed economic boost to the country.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has reaffirmed Namibia's commitment to working alongside fellow SADC countries to advance the region's shared developmental aspirations for the benefit of current and future generations.

Liberia's former President, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, briefly met with President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah at State House after yesterday's swearing-in. 

Johnson Sirleaf served as Liberia's first elected woman President from 2006 to 2018.
