The |Khomas Regional Council, together with the Office of the Prime Minister, handed over food parcels to Windhoek residents affected by the flash floods. 

According to the Chief Regional Officer of |Khomas Regional Council, over 280 households and 1,186 individuals have been affected directly. 

President Mbumba to attend inauguration of Ghana's President-elect

The police at Karasburg are investigating a case of culpable homicide following the death of a 17-year-old boy injured during a football match.

The deceased has been identified as Bradley Waterboer, a Grade 9 learner at Lordsville Secondary School. Waterboer's next of kin are aware of his death.
