Southern African Development Community (SADC) members should emulate Namibia and Botswana in allowing free movement of people in the region.

The Deputy Minister of International Relations and Trade, Jenelly Matundu, stated that the government should first focus on a complete re-engineering process before moving to the next step of transferring PSEMAS members to state health facilities.

A mediation hearing in the case of Usakos tour guide Marvin ||Areseb, who is suing the Namibian Police Force and three officers for alleged assault, will not proceed as scheduled.

The matter had been set down for mediation for today. 

The Kavango East Governor's office has donated a decent shelter to a destitute family in Fumbe Village in the Mashare Constituency. 

The governor's office deemed it necessary to provide the family with shelter from the harsh weather conditions.

The Minister of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security, Lucia Iipumbu, said the ministry will look into possible loopholes within the Namibia National Action Plan on Combating Trafficking in Persons 2023-27.
