The new leadership of the Outjo Constituency Youth Forum under the National Youth Council has engaged young people in the constituency to identify activities aimed at empowering and uplifting them.

The new leadership will serve until 2028.

The Popular Democratic Movement (PDM) leader McHenry Venaani has sought clarity from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Child Welfare regarding the sanitary pads for learners.

He said many girls are missing school due to this issue, calling on the ministry to find a permanent solution.

Several stakeholders have joined forces to launch a drunk-driving assessment and law enforcement campaign starting in July.

The aim is to root out drunk driving, which has been identified as one of the main contributors to road crashes on Namibian roads.
