Namibia places the highest strategic value on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

The Standard Bank Swakopmund Open Golf Tournament took place at the Rossmund Golf Course over the past weekend, drawing a field of 63 golfers from across the country. The two-day competition featured 12 women and five juniors, representing various clubs in a showcase of national talent.

Namibia addressed the United Nations Security Council on the situation in the Middle East, including the question of Palestine, stating that it cannot accept a world order where some people's freedom is conditional and others' suffering is normalised.

Namibia has called on the United Nations Security Council to move beyond expressions of concern and adopt concrete actions to support the realisation of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination. 

Zambia’s High Commissioner to Namibia, Stephen Katuka, emphasized the vital role of young people as partners in community development during National Youth Week in Windhoek, which celebrated Commonwealth Day under the theme "Unlocking opportunities together for a prosperous Commonwealth."
