The National Council held a special sitting following the appointment of seven of its members as deputy ministers by President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.

The session provided direction for those who were serving in the standing committees.

Rising crime, increasing legal cases against the state, ageing infrastructure, and an overstretched workforce have placed the justice system under pressure.

Dr. Mulongeni, who reaffirmed his passion for journalism, paid a visit to NBC DG Menesia Muinjo.
