Learners and teachers of Matumbo Angelina Ribebe Secondary School in Kavango East have exchanged responsibilities during the commemoration of the Day of the African Child.
 
The atmosphere at Matumbo Angelina Ribebe Secondary School in Ncaute Village took a different turn on Tuesday.
 

Oshana Governor Hofni Iipinge, says the Day of the African Child serves as a reminder of the courage demonstrated by the children of Soweto who, on 16 June 1976, stood up against injustice and demanded their right to quality education and human dignity.

The Tsumkwe Secondary School and Tsumkwe Primary School also joined the nation in celebrating the Day of the African Child.
 

The annual Cricket Namibia Awards ceremony took place yesterday at the FNB Cricket Namibia Grounds in Windhoek, recognising the achievements of players, coaches, and administrators from the past season. Around 145 awards were presented during the evening to celebrate excellence on and off the field.

Atushe Rock Lobster Company donated N$20 000 and two boxes of hake fish to the Groot Aub Primary School to improve learners' retention and improve education outcomes.
