Rundu recently hosted the first-ever National Technical and Vocational Education and Training Fair to promote TVET among out-of-school youth.

The Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Land Reform applauded the farming communities in the Omaheke Region for demonstrating a strong commitment to advancing grassroots agricultural transformation. 

Founder and CEO of International Training College Lingua, Ingrid Kloppers-Mettler, revealed that the college will open more regional campuses, adding to Rehoboth and Usakos, both set to open in January 2026.

Other campuses in the pipeline are Oshakati, Walvis Bay, Rundu, and Katima Mulilo. 

Theo Katjimune Primary School held a belated celebration of the Day of the African Child, under the theme, "Planning and Budgeting for Children's Rights: Progress since 2010."

Some taxi drivers held a protest at the Ministry of Works and Transport premises, demanding that e-hailing services like Yango, LEFA, and Indrive, among others, follow the same rules as taxi drivers in the capital.
