President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has said the government has not ignored the plight of the unemployed teachers; hence, engagements are ongoing with the stakeholders.

The Cabinet has endorsed the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) for pilchard for the remainder of this year's fishing season.

A Cabinet meeting on Tuesday set the TAC for the fish species at 10,000 tonnes.

This includes allocating funding for TVET infrastructures and aligning curricula with market needs.
