Works and Transport Minister, Veikko Nekundi, officiated the inauguration of Phase 2 of the Tsandi-Omugulugwombashe Road Project in the Omusati Region.

The Kalkrand Village Council handed over 16 houses to beneficiaries of the Build Together Programme in the village, after being dormant for 17 years. 

The village council reintroduced the programme in 2023 after it secured funding of N$1.5 million from the Ministry of Urban and Rural Development.
