In a bid to address the housing shortage and high unemployment rate, the Henties Bay Town Council has launched a brick-making project aimed at providing affordable housing for local residents.

The Henties Bay Municipality has availed 56 plots for the brick-making project. 

World Hand Hygiene Day was commemorated under the theme "It Might Be Gloves. It's Always Hand Hygiene" by the Health Ministry of Health and Social Services and other stakeholders.

The Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) will graduate the largest number of graduates in its 10-year history, awarding degrees to 2,804 graduates.

Among the 2,804 graduates, women are the highest, highlighting the university's commitment to gender empowerment in higher education. 

The Omhedi Palace of the Oukwanyama Traditional Authority is bustling with activity as they prepare to welcome over 20,000 guests for this year's annual Omagongo Festival.

The annual festival is celebrated across the eight Aawambo traditional authorities.
