The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security received an allocation of N$7.8 billion. 

The biggest share of the budget of over N$4 billion is directed toward the "Combating of Crime" programme.

Part of the N$8 billion includes N$435 million towards the development budget.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform has signed a trade agreement with China that will allow Namibia to export mutton and chevon to that country.

The agreement was signed yesterday.

The Minister of Urban and Rural Development has called on the Katima Mulilo Town Council to prioritise the well-being of the residents.

Over N$4 billion has been allocated to support the phased implementation of free higher education and vocational training starting next year.

The allocation represents 20% of the total education budget of over N$24 billion.
