Crime-Combating programme receives N$4 Billion budget

The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety and Security received an allocation of N$7.8 billion. 

The biggest share of the budget of over N$4 billion is directed toward the "Combating of Crime" programme.

Part of the N$8 billion includes N$435 million towards the development budget.

Agreement to export mutton and chevon to China signed

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Land Reform has signed a trade agreement with China that will allow Namibia to export mutton and chevon to that country.

The agreement was signed yesterday.
