This weekend will see the Brave Warriors as well as the Welwitschias rugby team take centre stage to keep sport fans entertained

In football: The Brave Warriors will take on Zimbabwe in the first leg of the 2018 Chan qualifiers at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Sunday at 15h00. In rugby action: the Africa Gold Rugby Cup is on, with the Welwitschias hoping to get their third win in the tournament, when they take on yet another Zimbabwean team at the Hage Geingob Stadium at 16h00. Meanwhile: Schools rugby will be in full swing at Jan Mohr high school in Windhoek tomorrow as from 9h00 in the morning. For Netball fans: Netball Namibia will be hosting Netball trials at the United Sports Grounds for players who will be selected for the National Team. The trials will start tomorrow at 09h00. Mao Zedong Secondary School in Otjomuise will play host to the annual Winter Deaf Schools Sport tournament, where Football, Netball, Volleyball and Tug of war will headline the event. The annual Oanob Canoe Championship is also set for this weekend, with the event starting tomorrow at Oanob at 9o'clock as well. Finally, the IJG will hold trials for Namibia top mountain bike riders in their bid to win the 2017 National Cross Country Championships. The championships are scheduled to start at 8h00 when the first junior age groups get going. The elite riders, however, will only begin racing at 12h00.
