Learners at the Okakarara Primary Schools are being taught in tents after their classroom blocks were damaged by heavy wind storms two weeks ago.

This is the situation facing over 650 learners, who will have to brave it out in tents until renovations are done on the damaged classrooms.

Education stakeholders in the Okakarara Constituency want 2023 to be a year to address indiscipline and promote community involvement in the education of children.

They expressed these sentiments at a motivational night after schools in the area recorded less than 40 learners pass rate last year.
