The former Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF), Kennedy Kandume, has clarified that his resignation was a personal rather than a forced decision.
This follows the reintegration of the fund into the Ministry of Education.

Eligible students are encouraged to apply for the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) loan before the due date.

The fund launched its online application on Tuesday.

Potential graduates from the University of Namibia (UNAM) who are in arrears are currently unable to obtain their qualification certificates or academic transcripts.

Otjozondjupa Governor James Uerikua has called on the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) to review its online application system for loans, saying it does not cater to all learners.

Uerikua was speaking at the Ritja Career Fair at Otjiwanda Secondary School in Grootfontein.

The Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) and the Welwitschia Health Training Centre have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, aimed at financially assisting students at the institution.

The MoU will allow students to write exams and view their results while payments are being settled.
