A group of concerned residents of Tses Village have petitioned ||Kharas Governor Dawid Gertze over the local council's poor service delivery and maladministration. 

A group of residents in Gobabis handed over a petition to the Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, claiming maladministration

Workers of the Gobabis Municipality staged a demonstration demanding that the council investigate financial status, progress on capital projects, maladministration, lack of good governance, favouritism, and unfair labour practices affecting development at Gobabis. 

Tension gripped a meeting where the Minister of Rural and Urban Development (MURD), Erastus Uutoni, announced the suspension of the entire Karasburg Council, appointing an administrator in their place. 

The Namibia University of Science and Technology has responded to allegations of maladministration made against the university and its Vice Chancellor Dr. Erold Naomab.
