Rehoboth Town Council owns Reho Spa facility

The Rehoboth Town Council now owns the Reho Spa facility in the town.

Mayor Amanda Groenewaldt announced this at the council's first meeting for the year with residents of Rehoboth yesterday.

Groenewaldt said the town council obtained the title deed of the Reho Spa from the Ministry of Works and Transport, following a process involving the town council and Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR).

Groenewaldt, to the delight of the meeting attendees, said the process is now complete.

Windhoek High Court dismisses Zelna Hengari's civil suit

The Windhoek High Court has dismissed former managing director of the Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR), Zelna Hengari's, N$7.5 million civil suit.

Hengari approached the High Court, suing N$7,5 million in reputation damages from her former employer.

The former NWR boss sued the parastatal over statements pertaining to a press statement the board issued on April 5, 2018, which was published in various local newspapers.

Namibia celebrates Worker's Day

A number of local companies took to social media to celebrate and appreciate their employees on Worker's Day.

Namibia Wildlife Resorts, showing true hospitality, served their employees with a heartfelt message hailing them as hardworking heroes who shape their communities.

Namibia University of Science and Technology, on the other hand, took the manual route, depicting construction workers with a thank you for Workers' Day.
